Webster University will host Laverne Cox, an LGBT advocate and Emmy Award-nominee, who is also known for her role in the series, “Orange is the New Black.” Cox will present her speech “Ain’t I A Woman” on April 10, 2018 in the Grant Gymnasium at 7:00 p.m.
The lecture will explore transgender rights, those who are oppressed and more.
Webster University students can pick up one free ticket at the University Center Information Desk with a student ID. Tickets are on sale to faculty for $10 each and $20 for the general public.
